This week’s random image is of the Bluebonnet House in Marble Falls, Texas.
The Bluebonnet House in Marble Falls, Texas
The Bluebonnet House in Marble Falls, Texas is one of the most photographed houses in Texas. People from all of the state and country come to see this house when the bluebonnets are in bloom. No one really knows when the bluebonnets were planted but rumors say it might have been Ladybird Johnson that seeded the fields around the stone ranch house but at some point in the last few years someone cut back the bluebonnets. As you can see from the field. The bluebonnets are slowly coming back!
About the Image
This image was shot just before a large storm system came into the area. The shot was taken using a tripod with my Sony Nex-3N and a Sony SEL55210mm 4.5-6.3 OSS Lens lens. I then edited the image in Adobe Lightroom. To remove some of the noise I used Topaz DeJEP (I normally shoot in RAW). Next, I post processed with Topaz Clarity to add texture, brighten, and bring out the details in the image. Then I removed the dust spots. Finally, I used Topaz DeNoise to remove the noise from the image.
