Random Picture of the Week #28: Bob-omb Sighting in Rockwall, Texas
This week’s random image is of Bob-omb tagged on an abandoned train flat car that I saw while passing by on my way out to Rockwall County for some rural exploration.
Where to Find Bob-omb in Rockwall, Texas
About two weeks ago I was doing a little exploring in Rockwall County and as I came up I-30 east into Rockwall, I passed by the abandoned Train flat car off to the right of the highway near the lake. When I drive by, always over the train car to see if its changed somehow. As always, I saw nothing new with the old train train car that’s been their for over a decade. It surprising that no one has really messed with it.
Then two days later, I went back to visit a new farm house abandonment that I found on my way home from the last trip. On my way back there, I came across the Bob-omb tag on the train car.
Bob-omb Sightings in North Texas
Bob-omb Sightings can be seen through McKinny, Texas, Deep Ellum, Dallas Texas, Austin and few other places. No one knows who is doing the tagging, but its fun to look for the tags and document them.
If you happen to see more or know where more are, please contact me with a location. I want to photograph and document them before they are covered up!
About the Image
I took this shot by hand with my Sony Nex-3N and Sony SEL55210mm 4.5-6.3 OSS Lens, then processed it with Adobe Lightroom to crop, straightened, and remove dust spots from the image. Then I post processed the image with Topaz Labs Clarity to add more texture, remove shadows, boost brightness and contrast. I then used Topaz DeNoise to remove noise from the image.
