Random Image of the Week #40: Abandoned Plymouth East of Bonham, Texas

This week’s random image of the week is of an abandoned Plymouth sedan I stumbled across will driving down HWY 56 just east of Bonham, Texas.

Abandoned Plymouth

Abandoned Plymouth East of Bonham, Texas

Just east of Bonham, Texas there is a property full of abandoned cars and trucks ranging from the 30s and 40s and a few newer ones throughout the property. The property also has livestock grazing on the land around the vehicles.

Many of the vehicles are 4 doors, but all have those great lines that you don’t see anymore. These are the type of old vehicles that love to photograph and explore.

This abandoned Plymouth in the above image caught my eye and so I had to get some close up shots of this old girl.

Although, I’m a two door guy when it comes to old cars, these are some good looking cars. With the two doors becoming harder to find and almost two expensive to purchase, sedans are the next best thing. Many of these old rides are rusty and would looked good slammed and fixed up as survivor cars.

About the Image

The abandoned Plymouth was shot by hand along the fence line with my Sony Nex-3N and a Sony SEL55210mm 4.5-6.3 OSS Lens as the storms were about to pass through. I then edited it in Adobe Lightroom. I then post processed with Topaz Clarity to add texture, bright the image, and bring out the details in the image. Then removed the dust spots and rain spots. I then used Topaz DeNoiseTopaz DeNoise to remove the noise from the image
