I\u2019ve always wanted to do a random picture of the day \/ week type of post from images from my library. At some point, I will sit down and do that, until then, I will do a Random Picture of the Week. Although, I might not post one most weeks, I will try and do one, when I\u2019m not ready to share images from some of the other projects I am working on\u2026<\/p>\n

Random Picture of the Week<\/h2>\n

This week\u2019s image was taken while I was driving down Beltway 8 in Houston Texas after leaving a business meeting earlier this week. While stuck in Houston traffic, I came to a stop at a traffic light. where I noticed a random door tied to a light pole at a Velero Gas Station. This door is grungy, old and missing the center glass piece and I love it!<\/p>\n

Seeing this site, I just had to take a picture of this. Luckily, I had my Sony Nex-3nl setting next to me and ready to use. So I took a couple of quick pictures.<\/p>\n

The Processing<\/h3>\n

I processed the image with Adobe Lightroom<\/a> and post processed the image with Topaz Labs Clarity<\/a>. Since the weather was a little gloomy and the bad weather was about to roll in, I lightened the shadows to bring out more detail and then desaturated the image to give off a more grungy look.<\/p>\n
