Its been over a year since I first attended the Sachse Summer Nights Car Show<\/a> and its time for Sachse to have another summer car show and I was lucky enough to be driving home from work and two weeks ago I happen to see the the car show was going on at the same place as last year.<\/p>\n

Sachse Summer Nights Car Show<\/h2>\n

I was lucky enough to have my point-n-shoot with me so I stopped by and took some pictures. Unfortunately some of my favorites didn\u2019t come out in the low light of the show. So today, I wanted to share with you a few of my favorite cars from the show and over the next few weeks and months I not share more images from the show but actually go into detail about the cars I shot.<\/p>\n

On the way to a car show I saw this nice looking custom Chevy Pickup<\/p>\n

Ford Model A – Rat Rod\"Ford<\/h3>\n

A cool looking Ford Model A Rat Rod<\/p>\n

Buick Grand National\"Buick<\/h3>\n

A nice looking Buick Grand National. These were some of my favorite 80s muscle cars.<\/p>\n

Purple Hot Rod\"Purple<\/h3>\n

I took this picture on the way over to another car and forgot to go back and take a look at what it looks like.<\/p>\n

Custom Paint Job – Custom Dodge Charger\"Custom<\/h3>\n

This the insides of a Dodge Charger. Not my favorite car of the show. It had to many neon lights on it. But its got a great paint job.<\/p>\n

1970s Ford Truck\"1970s<\/h3>\n

A cool looking custom 1970s Ford Truck<\/p>\n

1940 Ford Coupe\"1940<\/h3>\n

This is a great looking 1939 or 1940 Ford Coupe.<\/p>\n

Barnett Racing – Outlaw Dirt Race Car\"Barnett<\/h3>\n

This a hand built race car\u00a0 by Barnett Racing and its a sprint car as the name plate says.<\/p>\n

Ford Model A\"Ford<\/h3>\n

A nice looking primered up Ford Model A hot rod<\/p>\n

1973 De Tomaso Pantera\"1973<\/h3>\n

A nice looking 1973 Detomaso Pantera. This is the first one of these I have seen in person and I love these cars.<\/p>\n

I talked with the owner and says the cars been on the speed channel and does distance racing in it.<\/p>\n

The image didn\u2019t come out to well so I added an old image treatment. I think it came out pretty well.<\/p>\n

1955 Chevrolet Nomad\"1955<\/h3>\n

This a great looking Nomad. You don’t see these everyday and that night there were two parked next to each other.<\/p>\n

I post process this image with a back and white and filtered out the blue.<\/p>\n

1950 Mercury Lead Sled\"1950<\/h3>\n

I love old Mercury Lead Sleds. They look great as a hot rod like this one or as a rat rod. This was was built by the guys at the Sachse Rod Shop.<\/p>\n

2008 Chevrolet Truck\"2008<\/h3>\n

This is a cool looking Custom 2008 Chevrolet Truck.<\/p>\n

1954 Chevrolet Handyman Station Wagon\"1954<\/h3>\n

This old station wagon was done up in what you might see on a west coast beach. Only thing its missing is the wood paneling.<\/p>\n

1952 Chevrolet Rat Rod Truck\"1952<\/h3>\n

This is nice looking Rat Rod. This thing sits low to the ground.<\/p>\n

What I love about these old rat rods is what they do to make their rides unique. This is another image that didn\u2019t come out so I gave it vintage camera look.<\/p>\n

This rat rod has been chopped and customized. The owner even put the radiator in the back of the truck and pulled the bed up so it looks like a flat bed. Another image that didn\u2019t come out so I gave it a vintage camera.<\/p>\n
