Today, I decided to share another set of images from the Sachse Summer Nights Car Show<\/a> from a few months back. This set has images that are some of my favorite cars and pictures from the show. All images were processed in Adobe Lightroom 3.<\/p>\n

I have few more images to share in a couple of weeks, but those will be post processed and some of them will have effects that a friend or a family member asked me to create for them.<\/p>\n

1949 Mercury Custom Hot Rod<\/h3>\n

This is a 1949 Mercury custom hot rod. It was built by the Sachse Rod Shop<\/a> or at least that what I was told. I never had the chance to talk with the owner. It\u2019s a nice ride. The paint is awesome and interior is beautiful.<\/p>\n

1957 Chevrolet Bel-Air<\/h3>\n

This beauty is a 1957 Chevrolet\u00a0 Bel-Air. This classic is restored but it has some modern touches and the engine is chromed. Out of all the pictures taken that day, this is one of my favorites. I think its because of the sunburst blasting off the chrome off the rare of the rear wing of the car.<\/p>\n

1978 Pontiac Trans Am<\/h3>\n

One of my favorite cars as a child. I remember watching the Smokey and the Bandit<\/em> as a kid. Even though this isn\u2019t the right year for the movie and this car was made when hot rods were not fast, just large, slow and to heavy. But this body is still my favorite and its does have the potential of being a beast. The one thing I will tell you about this bird, it isn\u2019t stock and it isn\u2019t slow.<\/p>\n

1928-1931 Ford Model A<\/h3>\n

\"1928-1931<\/a><\/p>\n

This is a 1928-1931 (not really sure on the year) Ford Model A coupe. Its been restored to original specs. The car looks great and I have always like the looks of these cars, but I preferred to see these as rat rods and custom hot rods. But at the same time, I would hate to see this already restored car cut up and converted to a hot rod. I prefer that these old cars be found rusting a way in a field or a barn and the new owner restore and build a custom hot rod from them.<\/p>\n

As for this image, I originally processed in Adobe Lightroom 3, post processed with Photoshop CS4. I then added a texture, filters, and vignetting to give the image a vintage look.<\/p>\n

1930-1931 Custom Ford Model A Truck<\/h3>\n

I don\u2019t know what it is, but there is something about trucks that I love. I guess it\u2019s a Texas thing. I\u2019m always pulled to custom hot rod trucks, 4x4s, rat rod trucks, and modern trucks that are bagged and has the power to run with some of the faster cars.<\/p>\n

This is a 1930-1931 custom Ford Model A Truck. I really do not know much about this truck, but it looks good and it has a lot of chrome.<\/p>\n
