This week\u2019s random image is from a recent photowalk of downtown Greenville, Texas and its of the Kansas City Southern evening train passing through Greenville, Texas as I\u2019m heading to my car.\u00a0\"Kansas<\/a><\/p>\n

Kansas City Southern Evening Train Passing Through Greenville, Texas<\/h3>\n

The Kansas City Southern is smallest and the second oldest Class 1 railroad company still in operation. It was found in 1887 and is operating in ten central states.<\/p>\n

In the DFW area I see the Kansas City Southern trains pass all the time but never up close and always from the car.<\/p>\n

The above image was just luck. I happened to be heading to my car and the train was just coming into view so I changed direction to move a little closer the train to get the shot. I wasn\u2019t fast enough to catch the front of the train clearly but this was the second shot and it came out well.<\/p>\n

About the Image<\/h3>\n

The image was shot by hand late in the afternoon with the sun backlighting the train with my Sony Nex-3N<\/a> and a Sony SEL16F28 16mm f\/2.8<\/a> lens. I then edited the image in Adobe Lightroom<\/a>. Next, I post processed with Topaz Clarity<\/a> to add texture, brighten, and bring out the details in the image. Then I removed the dust spots. Finally, I used Topaz DeNoise<\/a> to remove the noise from the image.<\/p>\n
