While staying in Abilene, Texas but working up north in the small town of Anson, Texas I took a short road trip up to Fort Phantom Hill<\/a> in the northern outskirts of what is now Abilene, Texas before work. While driving the back country roads, I came across an abandoned stone farm house north east of Abilene and its just north of Hamby, Texas<\/a>.<\/p>\n You can see the house from the main road but you have to take a torn up and seldom used gravel road to get to the house. At the end of the road looks to be an abandoned barn or at least it wasn\u2019t visited that often. As for the house, it sits off the gravel road behind a locked fence with livestock on the property. The house has been abandoned for a long time, probably decades.<\/p>\n I shot this image with my Sony NEX-3N<\/a> and a Sony SEL55210mm 4.5-6.3 OSS Lens<\/a> during the early afternoon from the fence line. I then edited it in Adobe Lightroom<\/a>. I then post processed with Topaz Clarity<\/a> to add texture, bright the image, and bring out the details in the image. Then removed the dust spots and rain spots. I then used Topaz DeNoise<\/a>Topaz DeNoise<\/a> to remove the noise from the image<\/p>\nAbout the Image<\/h3>\n
