This week\u2019s random picture is of a chain and padlock on a working farm out in Rockwall County, Texas. <\/p>\n

About the Padlocks and Chains<\/h3>\n

One of my favorite places to photograph is the old abandoned farmhouse on the working Klutts Family Farm<\/a>. The farm is on lock down and protected by theses heavy chains and padlocks. I have never jumped over the fence to this place up to get an up close and personal with the dying house. Someday, I hope to speak with the family and even get the chance to tour the house and document it. <\/p>\n

But for now, I get to use my SEL55210 telephoto lens and shot from the property lines. <\/p>\n

About the Image<\/h3>\n

I shot this image with my Sony Nex-3N<\/a> and Sony SEL55210<\/a> telephoto lens in bright and sunny conditions. I then processed the image in Adobe Lightroom<\/a> to remove dust spots, straitening, and some other fine tuning before post processing. Next I processed the image with Topaz Clarity<\/a> to bring out the colors and details. And for the final step, I used Topaz B&W<\/a> to convert the image to black and white.<\/p>\n
