Random Picture of the Week #61: Hidden Vintage Texaco Sign
This week’s random image is of an old vintage Texaco sign partially hidden in the tall grass near the old abandoned Texaco building in Bowie, Texas.
Hidden Vintage Texaco Sign
On the way back from Wichita Falls, Texas I stopped in the small town of Bowie, Texas to do a little exploring. One of the stops I made was to an old abandoned Texaco building on the edge of town. While exploring the surrounding area, I came across this abandoned vintage sign partially hidden in the grass.
About the Image
This image was shot just before a large storm system came into the area. The shot was taken by hand with my Sony Nex-3N and a Sony SEL16F28 16mm f/2.8 lens. I then edited the image in Adobe Lightroom. Next, I post processed with Topaz Clarity to add texture, brighten, and bring out the details in the image. Then I removed the dust spots. Finally, I used Topaz DeNoise to remove the noise from the image.
