Glass sculptures have their own look and feel that set them apart from other types of art structures. The texture of the glass and the knowledge of the fragile nature of the design give glass sculptures a unique place in the art world. Whether the glass is colored or clear, textured or fine, these delicate sculptures are truly an inspiration. The following collection focuses on glass sculptures from a “high art” perspective, as opposed to commercial glass designs. The sculptures below are quite stunning to view, but images online or ones found in a collection for booklet printing do not show the art quite the same way as when you are standing in front of it. So, if you ever have a chance to visit an art gallery with any number of art pieces made from glass, you should definitely take up the opportunity since a live view really shows the art in all of its glory.

Wow they do really look, erm, amazing, I wouldn’t like to be the one that would have to clean some of them though, just imagine that, one little bit of too much pressure and …. 😉 😆
I would not want to clean them either! How intimidating! 🙂
Thanks for sharing these. One of my favorite glass sculptures is Jay Musler’s Cityscape bowl, at the Corning Museum of Glass. Check it out here.
Oh, wow! This is truly stunning. Thanks for sharing!
