This week’s Photoshop resource is a collection of my favorite brushes from BrushKing. These brushes are free. Some have requirements on how you use them, some do not. Before using them, make sure to look closer at how you can use them, if you are not sure, email the author and ask them.
Photoshop Brushes
Photoshop brushes are sets of brushes (like paint brushes) that you can use to paint on a design or a texture. Textures are a great way to repeat a certain look. So if you are creating a design that uses a 30 or 40 bokehs, then could create one and save it as brush, then you could paint on your bokehs through out your project and easily custom the size without having to create a new one every time you need a create bokeh or any other shape.
The design community puts a lot free and premium Photoshop resources out for others to use. Photoshop brushes are not any different, you can find a lot of brushes for any project. There are some many sites offering free brushes, its easy to go overboard and have more than you will ever use. Below is just a small selection of free brushes you can find on BrushKing.
