blogging resources As I have mentioned before, blogging is a great way to get your site noticed by others and the search engines. Daily, weekly, or even monthly posts are great ways to have new content added to your site. Search Engines love new content and will reward you with higher ranking pages on your site. Along with search engines loving new traffic, so do your readers. Your readers might be just their because they like reading your work, but there is a good chance that some of those readers can be turned into customers or clients. So its always best to have killer content and know what your talking about when blogging.

We Blog Better

If you are looking for ways to better your blogging skills, I came across a site back when I first started blogging and try to visit them frequently. That site is We Blog Better. We Blog Better is a multi author site run by Kiesha Easley. When I first started visiting the site, Brandon Cox ran the site. But a few months ago he handed the site over to Kiesha. Since then Kiesha added a lot off good information and added a great group of writers to the site. We Blog Better is all about writing a better blog. Topics include; design, coding, monetization, traffic and SEO. The site focuses on blogging tips and resources all which will help you write better and build a better blog.

Why I like We Blog Better

As I mentioned above, I found We Blog Better a few months ago. Since then I read up on the site whenever I get the chance. Every time I visit the site, I find something useful, that will help with building a better blog or writing tips. Due to the limited time I have, I visit several times a month and catch up on the missed articles. Here are a five good reads you might want to check out…

  1. looks like a great site… I found some cool design blogs and I just left a comment on one of them… gonna check that site out more often. Thanks, James!

    • Yeah, We Blog Better is a great site. Lots of good information. I try and spend more time reading and posting there, but lately I am have been spending more time on blogging resources and SEO sites.

      • Re: the blogging resources/SEO sites – has it been helping?

I’ve been pretty much sticking to the “comment a ton on a variety of sites” strategy. It hasn’t been foolproof: I think I’ve helped out a lot of other sites waaaaaaaaaaaaay more than I’ve helped myself. But it is getting different people to the blog, and I know things will be better with search traffic soon (things with search are so pathetic right now it’s hard to imagine it getting any lower).

  2. I second your recommendation of We Blog Better. It is a great resource.

  3. I’ve seen We Blog Better! That 5 essential pages every blog needs is a discussion we as bloggers need to have more: I wonder if you’ll post about that, because I’m curious to hear your take on it. I’m wondering if my blog has too many pages, actually.

    • I have been thinking about writing my take on that as well. Just have a lot of other posts and projects going before I can get to that article…

  4. Sweeet resource! I’ll look into it. I’m looking to further expand my blog so it’ll come in handy. I always run into problems with coding for my blog. It can get quite complicated.

    • Coding can be hard. I find the guys over at BloggerLuv can be helpful. You should check out the design and coding sites. A lot of those sites have tutorials on coding and WordPress Tuts as well…

  5. We blog better is just that, a lot of great resources to make you a better blogger. Been a regular reader of Kiesha a while and recently she has moved her blog to a new level. She has now 4 regular contributors which makes the site more appealing. good suggestion.

  6. Yeah, another great place to share our great articles. Thanks for sharing this as this is the first time I knew this

  7. Hi James,
I don’t know how I missed this – but I firmly believe in better late than NEVER! Thanks for this awesome review! This was super kind of you and truly warms my heart to know that you have been enjoying my site. I feel so honored. 🙂
